# 使用預設 Amazon Linux AMI for Amazon EMR
<a name="emr-default-ami"></a>

除非您指定自訂 AMI，否則每個 Amazon EMR 發行版本都會使用預設 Amazon Linux AMI for Amazon EMR。從 Amazon EMR 5.36、Amazon EMR 6.6 和 Amazon EMR 7.0 版本開始，Amazon EMR 會自動將 Amazon Linux 更新納入預設的 Amazon EMR AMI (Amazon EMR 5.x 為 AL2，Amazon EMR 7.x 為 6.x 為 AL2023) 作為預設行為。新的 Amazon Linux 版本通常會在推出後的 2 週內整合，但由於測試需求，整合有時可能會超過 2 週。

## Amazon EMR 版本的自動 Amazon Linux 更新

當您使用 Amazon EMR 7.0 或更高版本、6.6 或更高版本或者 5.36 或更高版本的*最新修補程式版本*啟動叢集時，Amazon EMR 會將最新的 Amazon Linux 版本用於預設 Amazon EMR AMI。例如：
+ 如果有 `x.x.0` 和 `x.x.1` 版本，在 `x.x.1` 推出時 `x.x.0` 版本會停止取得 AMI 更新。
+ 同樣，在 `x.x.2` 推出時 `x.x.1` 會停止取得 AMI 更新。
+ 稍後，在 `x.y.0` 發佈時，`x.x.{{[latest]}}` 會繼續與 `x.y.{{[latest]}}` 一起接收 AMI 更新。

**不執行 `sudo yum update`**

您使用 SSH 連接到執行個體的第一個叢集時，對於該執行個體使用的 Amazon Linux AMI 版本備註、最新 Amazon Linux AMI 版本的通知、啟用的儲存庫提供的更新所適用的套件數通知，以及執行 `sudo yum update` 的指示，畫面輸出前幾行會提供連結。

強烈建議無論是使用 SSH 連接或使用引導操作，都不要在叢集執行個體上執行 `sudo yum update`。這可能會導致不相容的情況發生，因為所有套件一律都會安裝。
