# 存取 Elastic Transcoder

Elastic Transcoder 是一種 RESTful Web 服務，使用 HTTPS 做為通訊協定，並使用 JavaScript 物件標記 (JSON) 做為訊息格式。您的應用程式程式碼可以直接向 Elastic Transcoder API 提出請求。直接使用 REST API 時，您必須編寫必要的程式碼，以簽署和驗證您的請求。如需 API 及簽署請求的詳細資訊，請參閱 [API 參考](api-reference.md)。
