

# View a phone number's status

To be able to send messages in AWS End User Messaging Social, the phone number's **Status** must be *Active*.

1. Open the AWS End User Messaging Social console at [https://console.aws.amazon.com/social-messaging/](https://console.aws.amazon.com/social-messaging/).

1. Choose **Phone numbers**.

1. In the **Phone numbers** section, the **Status** column has each phone number's status.
**Note**  
If a phone number's **Status** is **Incomplete setup**, you can choose the phone number and then choose **Complete setup** to finish setting up the phone number.
