# View a phone number's ID in AWS End User Messaging Social

To be able to send messages with the AWS CLI, you need the **Phone number ID** to identify the phone number to use when sending.

1. Open the AWS End User Messaging Social console at [https://console.aws.amazon.com/social-messaging/](https://console.aws.amazon.com/social-messaging/).

1. Choose **Phone numbers**.

1. In the **Phone numbers** section, choose a phone number.

1. The **Phone number details** section contains the **Phone number ID** of the phone number.
