# Associate accounts with AWS Organizations
Associate accounts with AWS Organizations

 If you chose to associate your entire AWS Organizations during setup, your membership entitles coverage on all member accounts in the organization. Associated accounts will automatically update as accounts get added or removed from your organization.

 If you chose to associate part of the your AWS Organizations during setup and have restricted your membership to specific organizational units (OUs), your membership entitles coverage over all the accounts under the selected OUs. This includes accounts under sub-OUs of the selected OUs. Associated accounts automatically update as accounts get added or removed from those OUs.
