# Canceling a zonal autoshift

To stop an in-progress zonal autoshift for a resource, you must cancel the zonal autoshift.

# To stop an in-progress zonal autoshift


1. Open the ARC console at [https://console.aws.amazon.com/route53recovery/zonalshift/home#/](https://console.aws.amazon.com/route53recovery/zonalshift/home#/). 

1. Select a zonal autoshift that you want to cancel, and then choose **Cancel zonal shift**.

1. On the confirmation modal dialog, choose **Confirm**.
