# Tutorial: Create an Amazon Quick Sight dashboard
Tutorial: Create a dashboard

Use the following procedure to create a dashboard from the analysis that you created using the procedure in [Tutorial: Create an Amazon Quick Sight analysis](example-create-an-analysis.md).

**To create a dashboard from your analysis**

1. In your analysis, choose **Publish**, then choose **Publish dashboard**.

1. Choose **Publish as a new dashboard** or **Replace existing dashboard**.

1. For a new dashboard, enter **Marketing Dashboard** in **Dashboard name**. Optionally, add notes.

1. Under **Select sheets**, choose **All sheets** or **Specific sheets**.

1. Configure the following options as needed:
   + **Dashboard options** - **Enable Quick Actions** to allow dashboard users to take actions in connected services from visuals and alerts.
   + **Generative capabilities** - **Allow executive summary** to leverage generative capabilities to build precise summary for each sheet of the dashboard.
   + **Allow Data Q&A** to enable generative Q&A for this dashboard. This setting enables Amazon Q in QuickSight.
   + **Allow sharing data stories** to allow viewers of this dashboard to share data stories, that include snapshots of the dashboards visuals, with other users.
   + **Data snapshot options** - **Allow sharing scenarios** to allow viewers of this dashboard to share scenarios, that include snapshots of the dashboard's visuals, with other users.

1. Choose **Publish**.

   The dashboard is now published.

1. On the **Share dashboard** page that opens, choose the **X** icon to close it. You can share the dashboard later by using the sharing option on the dashboard page.
