

# Attach solutions to AWS Partner Customer Engagement (ACE) opportunities

When submitting opportunities through ACE, it strengthens the co-sell journey by granting AWS Sellers insight into where you're engaging with mutual customers through pipeline visibility.

You are required to add a solution to any opportunity. You will not be able to utilize the 'Other' option within the opportunity, rather you must first have a solution created in AWS Partner Central. Within the opportunity, in **Project details** section **AWS Marketplace products and solutions** you will see a list of up to 10 of your active solutions and AWS Marketplace products you can attach to an opportunity (if you have more than 10 active solutions or AWS Marketplace products, you'll have the ability to search for additional solutions or AWS Marketplace products by using the ID or the name of solutions and products).

## How to link a solution to an opportunity

**When creating a new opportunity:**

1. Sign in to [AWS Partner Central](https://partnercentral.awspartner.com/APNLogin).

1. Choose **Sell**, **Opportunity Management**.

1. Select **Create**.

1. Complete the Core Fields in the **Customer Details** and **Project Details** section.

1. Under **Project Details**, In the **AWS Marketplace products and solutions** section, associate one or more of your solutions and/or one or more AWS Marketplace products to the opportunity. 

   To associate solutions or AWS Marketplace products from an AWS Account connected via [Subsidiary account connection](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/partner-central/latest/getting-started/account-linking.html), enter the corresponding ARNs in the **Enter solution ARNs manually** or **Enter AWS Marketplace product ARNs manually** fields.
   + Note: up to 10 solutions and 10 AWS Marketplace products can be associated to an Opportunity.
   + Note: Only solutions in "Limited" or "Public" status will be shown in the drop-down list, that can be associated to an Opportunity.

1. Complete any remaining fields.

1. Select **Save and Submit**.

**When adding to an opportunity shared to you by AWS:**

1. Sign in to [AWS Partner Central](https://partnercentral.awspartner.com/APNLogin).

1. Choose **Sell**, **Opportunity**.

1. Within the opportunity list, select the opportunity you wish to edit in the column **Opportunity Id**.

1. Scroll down and select **Project Details**.

1. Scroll down to **AWS Marketplace products and solutions** section and click **Edit**.

1. In the **AWS Marketplace products and solutions** section, associate one or more of your solutions and/or one or more AWS Marketplace products to the opportunity. 

   To associate solutions or AWS Marketplace products from an AWS Account connected via [Subsidiary account connection](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/partner-central/latest/getting-started/account-linking.html), enter the corresponding ARNs in the **Enter solution ARNs manually** or **Enter AWS Marketplace product ARNs manually** fields.

1. Select **Save**.
