Getting started with MediaTailor

To get started with MediaTailor, you can choose between two tutorials—one on setting up ad insertion, and another on channel assembly. You can also explore a hands-on workshop for live events. The ad insertion tutorial will guide you through sending a playback request to MediaTailor to incorporate personalized ads into your content stream. The channel assembly tutorial will show you how to view your channel's stream, including the personalized ads, directly in a browser using a playback URL.

You can also explore the Live Event Framework Workshop. This hands-on workshop guides you through the complete lifecycle of an AWS Elemental MediaTailor live event setup, from initial discovery and deployment to optimization and scaling. You can follow the workshop for a simple configuration that uses one MediaTailor setup for all events and channels, or for an advanced architecture that uses dedicated configurations per event or channel.
