# Using AWS Lake Formation with AWS CloudTrail Lake

AWS CloudTrail Lake supports exploring event data stores using Amazon Athena with fine-grained permissions in AWS Lake Formation.

**Note**  
CloudTrail Lake can only be queried through Amazon Athena.
