# 모니터 삭제

Network Synthetic Monitor에서 모니터를 삭제하려면 먼저 모니터 **상태**와 상관없이 모니터와 연결된 모든 프로브를 비활성화하거나 삭제해야 합니다. 모니터가 삭제된 후에는 모니터의 프로브에 대한 요금이 더 이상 청구되지 않습니다. 삭제된 모니터는 복원할 수 없습니다.

Amazon CloudWatch 콘솔 또는 AWS Command Line Interface를 사용하여 모니터 및 프로브로 작업할 수 있습니다. **콘솔을 사용하여 모니터 삭제**

1. [https://console.aws.amazon.com/cloudwatch/](https://console.aws.amazon.com/cloudwatch/)에서 CloudWatch 콘솔을 열고 **네트워크 모니터링**에서 **Synthetic monitors**를 선택합니다.

1. **모니터** 섹션에서 삭제하려는 모니터를 선택합니다.

1. **작업**을 선택한 후 **삭제**를 선택합니다.

1. 모니터에 대한 활성 프로브가 있는 경우 이를 비활성화하라는 메시지가 나타납니다. **프로브 비활성화**를 선택합니다.
**참고**  
**프로브 비활성화**를 선택한 후에는 이 작업을 취소할 수 없습니다. 그러나 비활성화된 프로브가 모니터에서 제거되지는 않습니다. 원하는 경우 나중에 다시 활성화할 수 있습니다. 자세한 내용은 [프로브 활성화 또는 비활성화](nw-monitor-probe-status.md) 섹션을 참조하세요.

1. 확인 필드에 **confirm**을 입력한 다음, **삭제**를 선택합니다.

또는 예를 들어 AWS Command Line Interface를 사용하여 프로그래밍 방식으로 모니터를 삭제할 수 있습니다.

**CLI를 사용하여 모니터를 삭제하려면 다음을 수행하세요.**

1. 모니터를 삭제하려면 모니터 이름이 필요합니다. 이름을 모르는 경우 [list-monitors](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/reference/networkmonitor/list-monitors.html) 명령을 실행하여 모니터 목록을 가져옵니다. 삭제할 모니터의 이름을 기록해 둡니다.

1. 모니터에 활성 프로브가 있는지 확인합니다. 이전 단계의 모니터 이름과 함께 [get-monitor](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/reference/networkmonitor/get-monitor.html)를 사용합니다. 그러면 해당 모니터와 연결된 모든 프로브 목록이 반환됩니다.

1. 모니터에 활성 프로브가 포함된 경우 먼저 프로브를 비활성으로 설정하거나 삭제해야 합니다.
   + 프로브를 비활성으로 설정하려면 [update-probe](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/reference/networkmonitor/update-probe.html)를 사용하고 상태를 `INACTIVE`로 설정합니다.
   + 프로브를 삭제하려면 [delete-probe](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/reference/networkmonitor/delete-probe.html)를 사용합니다.

1. 프로브가 `INACTIVE`로 설정되거나 삭제된 후 [delete-monitor](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/reference/networkmonitor/create-probe.html) 명령을 실행하여 모니터를 삭제할 수 있습니다. 모니터를 삭제해도 비활성 프로브는 삭제되지 않습니다.
