DeleteChannel

Important

CloudTrail Lake will no longer be open to new customers starting May 31, 2026. If you would like to use CloudTrail Lake, sign up prior to that date. Existing customers can continue to use the service as normal. For more information, see CloudTrail Lake availability change.

Deletes a channel.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

Channel

The ARN or the UUID value of the channel that you want to delete.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 3. Maximum length of 256.

Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z0-9._/\-:]+$

Required: Yes

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.

This exception is thrown when the specified value of ChannelARN is not valid.
