

# Release: Elastic Beanstalk managed policy updates on March 23, 2023

AWS Elastic Beanstalk has released updates to five managed policies for tagging ECS resources.

AWS services maintains AWS managed policies, occasionally updating them to support new features or updated security standards. This release updates five Elastic Beanstalk managed policies and grants Elastic Beanstalk the permission to add tags to the Amazon ECS resources that Elastic Beanstalk creates.

 The following Elastic Beanstalk managed policies were updated:

+ AWSElasticBeanstalkRoleECS
+ AdministratorAccess-AWSElasticBeanstalk
+ AWSElasticBeanstalkManagedUpdatesServiceRolePolicy
+ AWSElasticBeanstalkManagedUpdatesCustomerRolePolicy
