

# Add project members to a custom AWS service environment

Complete the following procedure to add project members to an AWS service environment. 

1. Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the Amazon DataZone management console at [https://console.aws.amazon.com/datazone](https://console.aws.amazon.com/datazone).

1. Choose the **Projects** tab and then choose the project within a AWS service environment to which you want to add members.

1. Choose **Add** and then, on the **Add members** page, find and add members from **IAM users**, **SSO users**, or **SSO groups**. Specify an assigned project role of either an **Owner**, a **Contributor**, a **Consumer**, a **Steward**, or a **Viewer**. When you're finished finding and adding members, choose **Add members**.
