# Updating a data dictionary in AWS Marketplace Management Portal

You can update a data dictionary in AWS Marketplace Management Portal by first removing the existing data dictionary and then uploading a new one.

**To update a data dictionary**

1. Sign in to the [AWS Marketplace Management Portal](https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/management/products/data).

1. From the left side navigation menu, choose **Build**, **Data Products**.

1. From **Products**, choose the product you want to update.

1. Choose the **Data sets and details** tab.

1. In the **Data dictionaries and samples** table, select the **Manage attachments** action button. 

   1. In the **Data dictionaries** table, choose **Remove**, and then choose **Remove** again in the confirmation modal.

      The data dictionary is removed.

   1. In the **Data dictionaries** table, choose **Add**.

   1. Choose **Upload data dictionary**.

   1. Select a new data dictionary and then click **Open**.

   1. Choose **Confirm**.

1. Choose **Submit** to complete your update.
