

# Users not receiving activation emails

**Problem: Users are not receiving activation emails**

**Solutions:**
+ Verify the email address is correct in AWS IAM Identity Center.
+ Have users check their spam or junk folders for emails titled **Activate Your Amazon Q Developer Pro Subscription**. 
+ Allow up to 24 hours for activation emails to be delivered.
+ Verify the user was properly added to IAM Identity Center. For more information, see [Add users to your IAM Identity Center directory](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/singlesignon/latest/userguide/addusers.html) in the *AWS IAM Identity Center User Guide*.
